TELEWORK ANALYTICS UNVEILS
INNOVATIVE TELECOMMUTING SOFTWARE
Program is "Fast-Track" To Increased Productivity
(POTOMAC, MD)--Telework Analytics International, Inc., the leader in
telecommuting software, today announced the release of TeleworkAudits(TM),
a Windows-based program that provides decision-makers with a scientifically reliable
model to determine the economic viability of allowing employees to telecommute.
"Telecommuting is clearly the wave of the future," said John Edwards,
Director of Telework Analytics International. "Two-thirds of Fortune
1000 companies currently have telecommuting programs, and nearly 60% of the companies
without telecommuting programs intend to establish one within the next three years."
"Businesses can save millions of dollars each year if they encourage their
employees to telecommute," Edwards added. "But telecommuting is not for
everybody. Certain companies can lose by telecommuting. TeleworkAudits(TM)
is the first software program that lets businesses know how telecommuting will
affect their bottom line before they determine a company policy."
Using an easy point-and-click answering format, TeleworkAudits(TM)
invites employees and management to record all of the data that is pertinent to
a telecommuting cost/benefit analysis. TeleworkAudits(TM)
then provides the decision-maker with a reliable and easy-to-read appraisal of
each employee's suitability to telecommute.
"One impediment to increased telecommuting has been that companies have had
to conduct extensive research and development to determine the economic viability of
telecommuting - research that could take up to 18 months," said Noel Hodson,
Director of SW2000 Teleworking Studies. "This program provides a fast-track to
telecommuting productivity by reducing that time to a few weeks."
"Telecommuting provides a win-win situation for the employer and the employee,"
added Hodson. "In most cases, each employee that telecommutes saves the employer
thousands of dollars per year; at the same time, the employee gains the flexibility
to balance work and personal life - they can spend more time with family, or
further their education, or ski the Rockies. The clincher is that case studies
show that telecommuters are 20% to 45% more productive."
TeleworkAudits(TM) runs under Microsoft Windows 3.1
or higher. TeleworkAudits(TM) data downloads
easily into Excel for further customized analysis. For more information about
